Brooklyn-based indie rock trio Trophy Wife have quickly become a standout ensemble to watch, and today they’re sharing their Audiotree Live Session for a taste of what they bring to the table. Performing heavy-hitting, head-banging numbers from last year’s debut album Get Ugly — a raw, triumphant nod to ’90s angst — the band’s live performances channel all the emotion and energy of their recorded material, creating an unforgettable experience.

Formed in the DIY basement scene during their time at Berklee College of Music in Boston, the band is the brainchild of lead vocalist and songwriter McKenzie Iazzetta, and features Christian Pace on bass and Michael Martelli on drums.

Following their first headline tour, the rising rockers aren’t slowing down. Their highly anticipated new single “So Hard” arrives nearly a year after Get Ugly, with momentum continuing to build from cult followers and newly discovered fans alike.

Blending the blistering edge of alt-country with confessional alt-rock, Trophy Wife carve out a sound that’s both unapologetic and intimate. Iazzetta’s hypnotic whisper and emotional grit sit at the heart of it all — a voice that commands attention while drawing listeners in close.

With their Audiotree session capturing the band in full force and a new single on the horizon, Trophy Wife are poised for a breakout moment. Don’t miss the live session, and get ready for “So Hard,” out October 24 on all DSPs.
