Victoria Monét Dazzles with Original End-Credit Song, ‘Power of Two,’ for the Star Wars Series ‘The Acolyte’ from Lucasfilm
Victoria Monét, a three-time Grammy® Award-winning singer-songwriter, lends her talent to the original end-credit song, “Power of Two”, for the Star Wars series “The Acolyte” from Lucasfilm. The song, a collaborative effort between Monét, Oscar®-winning (“Judas and the Black Messiah”) and Grammy® Award-winning producer D’Mile, and award-winning composer Michael Abels (“Get Out” and “Us”), is now accessible on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and other digital platforms. The series is currently available exclusively on Disney+.
“The Acolyte” delves into an investigation of a startling crime spree that brings a revered Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) face-to-face with a formidable warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As they uncover more clues, they venture down a shadowy path where malevolent forces hint that things are not as they appear….
The series boasts a star-studded cast including Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie-Anne Moss.
The series, based on Star Wars by George Lucas, was created by Leslye Headland, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King, and Jason Micallef. Charmaine DeGraté and Kor Adana are the co-executive producers, while Rayne Roberts, Damian Anderson, Eileen Shim, and Rob Bredow serve as producers.
