VIRAL RAPPER MELLY MIKE RELEASES NEW SINGLE “GOD’S TIME”

Melly Mike, New Music, Music, Rapper, Epic Record, Rap

Rising rap star Melly Mike accelerates his rise with the release of his latest single, God’s Time”. The hard-hitting track marks his second official release since signing with Epic Records in 2025, following “The Same.” The new music follows the viral success of “Young Black & Rich,” the anthem that sparked the “aura farming” trend and captivated audiences around the world.

Melly Mike’s journey, from a decorated U.S. Army serviceman to a rising voice in motivational rage-rap, reaches a powerful new chapter. Inspired in part by loss as he reflects on how short life can be, he dedicates “God’s Time” to his close friend Jorge Munoz-Pederson, who was recently killed in a mass shooting in Austin, Texas, honoring his memory through the track’s themes of faith, timing, and purpose.

“I used to not have sh*t, now I got everything,” the Minnesota native raps. “I used to be so down bad, I turn up every day.” His music reflects a striking evolution from aspiring artist to an artist with undeniable star potential, with a grounded sense of humility that remains central to his music.

“Deep down I always knew I was going to be an artist,” Melly says. “Everything else was just building blocks to get where I needed to go.”

Those building blocks have already made a major impact. His breakout single “Young, Black & Rich” became a global viral phenomenon – dubbed the aura-farming anthem across social media – and earned him his first Billboard chart placement, landing in the Top 50 of the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The track also attracted widespread attention from athletes and entertainers, including Travis Kelce and iShowSpeed, among many others.

Following that momentum, Melly delivered “The Same,” an electrifying, synth-driven record that showcased his versatility and established his presence within the rage-rap/hip-hop space. Now, with “God’s Time,” he raises the stakes once again — both sonically and personally.

“I want to prove to myself and to the world that I have what it takes,” he says. “I want to be the greatest.”
