Wilco Expands Spring/Summer Tour with August Run Tickets Available Friday, April 18th
Wilco expands their extensive spring/summer touring with an August run throughout the United States and into Canada. These shows, titled “An August Evening with Wilco,” follow their “Sweet and Sour Spring 2025” tour, which takes place over the next two months in the American South and features special guest Waxahatchee on many of the dates. Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale this Friday, April 18th, at 10am local time and will be available here.
Wilco has already announced April through June shows across three continents, including performances in Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, London, Barcelona, Madrid and other South American and European destinations. The band will also join Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams, and Waylon Payne for three dates on the iconic Outlaw Music Festival 2025 tour in early August.
Wilco’s 2025 touring will feature material from their vast catalogue, including their “immensely rewarding” (Stereogum) 2023 full-length studio album Cousin and last year’s “refreshing” (Paste) Hot Sun Cool Shroud EP, plus two major catalog reissues: an expanded three LP version of 2010’s The Whole Love (out May 2, dBpm) and a deluxe nine LP/four CD box set of 2004’s A Ghost Is Born (February 2025, Nonesuch). “Wilco have remained one of the most consistently relevant and rewarding American bands of any era,” (Paste) which emanates both on stage and on record.
This weekend, Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy returns to the Vic Theater in Chicago for his annual charity shows. Tickets and further information for all shows are available here.
