Ahead of their huge homecoming show at Finsbury Park this coming Sunday, Wolf Alice have announced a 7” package of B Sides from the recording sessions of their 2025 number 1 album, The Clearing.

You can hear the first offering, ‘Gospel Oak’ right now with ‘Hammond Song’ and ‘Hit The Sky’ dropping digitally over the coming weeks before the three songs have their physical release on the 1 year anniversary of The Clearing on August 21. Pre-order HERE.

On the songs the band shared, “These are a few songs we made during The Clearing that didn’t make it on the final record, but are ones we love very much, including a cover with two of our fave singers Julia Cumming and Bria Salmena – we’re happy to have found a home for them for you to hear. Enjoy”

Taking its name from an area in North London just up the road from Finsbury Park, Ellie has said that ‘Gospel Oak’ was inspired by folk songs and songs we all learn at school. Expect all three to make it onto the set list this weekend.

The huge outdoor event will feature very special guests including The Last Dinner Party, Lykke Li, Rachel Chinouriri, Keo, and Florence Road.

The release of their fourth studio album The Clearing in August 2025 cemented their place in global music culture. An album bursting with ambition, ideas and emotion, it was received with huge critical acclaim, reached Number 1 on the UK album charts and was shortlisted for The coveted Mercury Music Prize for the fourth time – that’s four for four across their 10 year career, making Wolf Alice the only band in Mercury Prize history to achieve a 100% nomination rate across their discography. Wolf Alice also won Group of the Year at the 2026 BRIT Awards as well as being nominated for best Alternative/Rock Act and Mastercard Album of the Year.
