YUNG LEAN ANNOUNCES SUPPORT FOR UPCOMING NORTH AMERICA TOUR DATES INCLUDING NIONTAY, XAVIEROSBASED, TAXIDERMIST, AND EAR

Yung Lean is gearing up to kick off his North American tour this Saturday, and today, he has unveiled the lineup of supporting acts for each city. Fans can expect performances from Niontay, Xaviersobased, Taxidermists, and ear along the way. The 12-city North American run comes on the heels of his May album Jonatan, and will be followed by a European leg. 

Lean and long-time friend Bladee recently released two new collaborative singles, “INFERNO” and “Evil World,” continuing the momentum from their groundbreaking joint album last year, Psykos. Following their respective headlining tours this fall, the duo will take the show to Australia and New Zealand for six performances as part of Laneway Festival. Their new collaborative live show, which blends music from across both artists’ catalogues, first premiered during a run of major summer festivals to wide acclaim. 

Since bursting onto the global stage in 2013 with his twice-viral “Ginseng Strip 2002,” which was the #1 TikTok song globally in 2022, the now 28-year-old artist is over a decade into a career that has been shockingly unique, not only for his international success as a Swedish rapper, but also the partnerships he has forged and the sheer potency of his art. Having collaborated with mainstream rappers like Travis Scott, alt-pop stars like FKA Twigs, and avant-garde experimentalists like Dean Blunt, Yung Lean has explored the limits of genre with projects like JonatanLeandoer96 and his punk band Död Mark. With Jonatan, he makes his most direct artistic statement yet, one that synthesizes his career to date into a singular and powerful statement of intent.
