AFROBEATS STAR OXLADE UNVEILS DELUXE EDITION OF DEBUT ALBUM

Afrobeats superstar Oxlade, recognized by BBC as “one of the biggest Afrobeats singers,” releases the deluxe edition of his critically acclaimed debut album, Oxlade From Africa (OFA). This expanded version introduces four fresh new tracks: “DOINGZ” “OMALICHA, ” “SHO MI, ” and “VANITI.” Each seamlessly blends Afrobeats and Pop to deliver the quintessential summer soundtrack, perfectly timed for the upcoming festival season.

Blending his past, present, and future into an all-encompassing vision, OFA : Deluxe Edition is a bold and expansive 20-track musical and cultural journey that transcends borders, celebrating African heritage from Lagos to the world. With its title reflecting a broad, inclusive vision, the album’s extended version highlights Africa’s cultures, elegance and beauty and showcases Oxlade’s mainstream recognition as a Global Superstar of Afrobeats. 

Aiming to continue making Africans proud of their heritage, Oxlade uses his music, visuals and fashion to deliver a powerful message of unity and continues OFA’s momentum. 

The album counts over 790 million streams worldwide and the global hit “KU LO SA” surpassed 574 million streams, recently achieving Gold in the U.S. Additionally, Oxlade’s latest hit “OLOLUFE” gains virality in new markets, notably in Southeast Asia and India, amplifying the album’s global reach.

The latest Vevo Studio Live Performances of “OLOLUFE” and “OLAOLUWA”, along with his stripped-down BBC Radio’s “This is Africa” acoustic session [watch here], have showcased Oxlade’s signature and powerful vocals, nurtured through church choirs and acappella groups during his childhood in Lagos.
