Atlanta Look to Sweep Season Series with Connecticut Tuesday

Atlanta face the Sun for the third time this season

UNCASVILLE – The Atlanta Dream will go for its fifth straight win Tuesday evening when it travels to the Mohegan Sun Arena to face the Connecticut Sun beginning at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live on WNBA League Pass.

ATLANTA DREAM GAME NOTES

Atlanta (12-9) is coming off a come-from-behind 80-77 victory over the Washington Mystics Sunday afternoon. Brittney Sykes led the Dream with 17 points and six boards. The Dream is 8-3 on the season against Eastern Conference opponents.

Connecticut (12-10) return to action after defeating the Minnesota Lynx, 83-64, Sunday night. Morgan Tuck led the Sun in scoring with 15 points.

The two teams will meet for the third time this season Tuesday. The Dream took the first two games, which were both played in Atlanta.

Earlier today, the league named Jessica Breland Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Breland earned Player of the Week honors for the first time in her seven-year career. The 6-3 forward opened the week with a season-high 23 points, 10 rebounds, a career-high seven assists and a season-high-tying four blocks in a 106-89 win over the host Washington Mystics on July 11.
