BOZA REIMAGINES FIVE KEY SONGS FROM HIS CATALOG FOR “BOZA ACÚSTICOS”

Boza, Sony Music, Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay

Boza presents Boza Acústicos, a five-video audiovisual series that revisits different stages of his catalog through a more intimate and organic format. The project features new versions of “san blaS,” “Qué Prefieres?” with Beéle, “Paris,” “orióN” and “Ella” with Beéle, available through a multi-platform link and on the artist’s official YouTube channel.

The sessions were recorded in a wood-paneled studio, with Boza performing in front of a classic-style microphone and accompanied by a live band featuring acoustic guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, percussion and backing vocals. Warm lighting punctuated by blue accents and a restrained set design keep the focus on the performances and the musicianship, creating an intimate atmosphere without turning the songs into traditional ballads.

In each version, the arrangements strip back some of the layers from the original productions to make room for the vocals, melodies and lyrics. However, the songs retain the Afrobeat pulse, dancehall influences and rhythmic movement that have defined Boza’s sound. Rather than abandoning the identity of the familiar recordings, the series offers a different way to experience them, with live instrumentation and a more exposed vocal performance.

The selection spans four years of music and several stages of his career. “Ella,” originally released in April 2021, returns to one of the first songs that expanded his international presence; “Qué Prefieres?,” released with Beéle in 2022, revisits a collaboration that became a favorite within both artists’ catalogs; “orióN,” released with Elena Rose in 2024, represents one of the biggest successes of Boza’s career; while “san blaS” and “Paris,” both released in 2025, connect the series to his most recent musical chapter.

“I chose these five songs because each one represents a different moment in my journey. Some opened doors for me, others defined an important chapter, and others are still part of what I am experiencing right now. I didn’t want to change their essence, but rather remove some of the layers so the voice, the lyrics and the band could feel closer, without losing the rhythm that identifies them. Performing ‘Qué Prefieres?’ and ‘Ella’ with Beéle again also made these sessions even more special,” said Boza.

Among the selections, “orióN” represents one of the most significant chapters of his recent career. The collaboration with Elena Rose surpassed 214 million streams during its initial release period, spent 14 weeks at No. 2 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay chart and was included among the publication’s 25 best Latin songs of the year. Later, “orióN (Sistek Remix)” earned Boza his second Latin GRAMMY® nomination, this time in the category of Best Latin Electronic Music Performance.

“san blaS” also arrives at the special backed by major industry recognition. The song was nominated for Afrobeat Song of the Year at Premio Lo Nuestro 2026. During that same edition, “orióN” received a nomination for Best Pop/Urban Song and was included in the medley through which Boza represented Panama during the ceremony.

Beéle’s participation in “Qué Prefieres?” and “Ella” revisits a musical partnership that began with “Ella (Remix)” in 2021. This time, their voices come together within a more restrained production built around the performances and the live band’s dynamic.

Boza Acústicos arrives after the Panamanian artist served as Panama’s musical ambassador during the 2026 World Cup and made his Milan Fashion Week Men’s debut alongside GARCIAS. After bringing his music and his country’s identity to international sporting and cultural stages, Boza once again places the songs and the performances at the center of his work.
