CANADIAN R&B SENSATION AQYILA RELEASES “WOLF”

Canadian R&B star Aqyila continues her unstoppable 2025 with the release of her latest track, “Wolf”, which is accompanied by a stunning, stylized music video, out today from Sony Music Entertainment Canada. She has also announced the release of her debut album, Falling Into Place, out March 28.

Written by Aqyila, Mike Sonier (Noah Cyrus, Maggie Rogers, The Weeknd, Julia Michaels), and Soaky Siren (Tiesto, Jason Derulo, Pitbull, J.Balvin, Maroon 5, Tinashe), and produced by Mike Sonier, “Wolf” is an upbeat pop anthem from Canada’s reigning R&B princess. Following a series of confident releases, the track reinforces Aqyila’s unyielding sense of self and her refusal to settle. It’s a bold response to a man who has “cried wolf” one too many times—”you and truth are incompatible,” she sings, making it clear she’s had enough.

“My earlier releases from this album were all about feeling confident, knowing who I am, and staying grounded. This track is a little bolder, a bit playful, but also fearless,” says Aqyila. “2025? Let’s talk boundaries,” she adds with a laugh.
