Chase Shakur Invites Fans to Experience His Debut Album Live on His Upcoming “WONDERLOVE Tour”

Chase Shakur made a splash with the release of his anticipated debut album WONDERLOVE, which came out earlier this month. Now, Chase is ready to welcome fans into his world of sensual stories and introspective R&B, announcing the “WONDERLOVE Tour.” Pre-sale tickets are available for the “WONDERLOVE Tour” starting February 19th at 10am local, with the General Onsale launching on February 21st at 10am local. The 16-date tour kicks off on April 24th in Houston, before making its way to major markets like Los Angeles on May 2nd (The Fonda), Chicago on May 9th (The Promontory), New York City on May 14th (The Gramercy Theatre), before concluding on May 23rd in Chase’s hometown of Atlanta. 

Along with the tour announcement, Chase shares the video for “LUV IN DA 6,” a highlight from WONDERLOVE. A languid ballad with mutating synths and warped vocal samples, “LUV IN DA 6” finds Chase and guest artist Smino coldly establish their expectations with a woman who wants more than a casual fling. In the video, directed by Khari McCloud, Chase woos a complement of beautiful women, who eagerly try to win his affections by braiding his hair, ironing his clothes, and dancing to his music.

Populated with swelling synths and subsonic bass, WONDERLOVE is a shape-shifting and atmospheric effort, reflecting the contours of Chase’s mind as he progresses from infatuation to heartbreak and back, all in search of a love to encompass his whole being. Shaped by Chase and a team of producers that includes Isaiah Kaleo, Dahi, Go Grizzly, London Jae, and many more, the immersive WONDERLOVE blends a variety of styles, adding textures to Chase’s delicate brand of R&B. Featuring acclaimed singles like “FOCUS ON ME” and “LIMERENCE” (praised by UPROXX, BET, Rated R&B, and more), the album aims to overwhelm the senses with expansive soundscapes and keenly-observed situationship stories. Featuring appearances from Smino and TyFontaine, WONDERLOVE is available on all platforms via Def Jam Recordings.
