The Chris Brown 11:11 Tour came to Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA for two SOLD OUT shows to close out their mega area tour. The tour entitled “11:11” celebrates the release of Chris Brown’s 11th studio album of the same name. As fans poured into the area, they were greeted by the beats of DJ Fresh who kicked off the night playing fan favorite hip-hop tracks that got people up on their seats showing off their dance moves.

Our night officially kicked off with the artist Maeta taking the stage with her soulful R&B style. Owning the moment in an iconic red outfit, she played such songs as: “DJ Got Me”, “Control Freak” and “Questions”. As she had the crowd transfixed on her amazing vocals, she closed out her set with fan favorite song “Through the Night”.

The flow of the 11:11 tour was seamless between artists thanks to the amazing talents of DJ Fresh keeping the crowd hyped with track after track of crowd favorites. This was half concert and half nightclub as you never wanted to sit down at any point.

As the lights go down, and all focus is on the stage, three dancers emerge and perform in silhouette until the lights go dark. As the lights slowly came up, we get a glimpse of the next artist…Muni Long. The crowd erupts screams as she asks the sold-out arena: “Who the F**K is Muni Long?”. Through their screams a video montage plays that’s leads into her first song “Time Machine”. Muni Long commanded the stage belting out hit after hit. In a special moment, the singer closed out her set by bringing out her young son and held him while she sang the hit song “Made for Me”. She revealed that most people think this song is about a boyfriend or partner, but it is actually about her son. The crowd was overwhelmed with emotion as they all sang the lyrics in unison.

After one more hype session with DJ Fresh, the moment this sold out crown was waiting for has arrived…A giant countdown begins on the large screen in the center of the stage starting at 10…9…8…and as it gets to 1, Chris Brown appears standing center stage on an elevated platform to open the show with: “Angel Numbers/ Ten Toes”. As the song progresses, we see more dancers in masks and dark outfits fill the stage to bring those iconic Chris Brown dance moments to life on a grand scale. A brief moment of pause and then multiple fire bursts light up the stage to set the tone for the level of production value the 11:11 tour has instore for the evening.

Chris Brown’s set is broken up into four acts, with each act representing a natural element: Fire, Water, Air and Earth. The unique acts bring new songs, theatrical moments and of course trendsetting outfit changes. A truly amazing moment happens during the second act, Water, where

Chris and two other dancers fly over the audience during the song “Only/ Wrist” to go a satellite stage on the back of the area to perform two more songs on a stage that can spin and turn side to side giving the crowd an up close and personal moment with the superstar.

The show is filled with all the hits in Chris Brown’s discography and even a few special surprises along the way during the portion of the show in the final act when three songs are chosen at random from a list of fan favorite songs on the screen. For night two of the sold out 11:11 tour we were lucky enough to get these three songs: “Forever”, “Deuces” and “No BS”.

Chris closed out the show with the final two songs “Loyal” and “Grass Ain’t Greener” to a crowd that was even more energetic when he first started his portion of the show over 2 hours prior! As Chris and his crew took their final bows of the tour after performing a mind blowing 36 song set, you could tell everyone on stage and in the audience was overcome with emotion. Chris took those final moments on stage to thank his cast, touring crew, local LA crews and of course his fans for making this tour one of his favorites in his career. As a final kiss goodnight, Chris teased the audience that he would be back soon, and the screams of excitement could be felt all over the arena.
