COMPETITION NOTES

• The drivers were equally split between the Formula DRIFT PRO and PROSPEC Championships. However, the latter don’t compete on the Streets of Long Beach course during their competitive season, giving the PRO drivers an advantage
• Driver match-ups for tandem competition runs were decided by a random draw in the absence of qualifying runs
• Charpentier won the all-PRO Final after a tight battle with Stuke. But the BMW driver was able to place his car more accurately on both the lead and chase runs, giving him the unanimous judge’s decision
• Second place Stuke defeated his MspeK teammate Kohl in the Final 4 before narrowly losing to Charpentier
• Jones took third after succumbing to Charpentier’s precision driving in the Final 4 battle
