Multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Daniel Caesar performed his Top 10 R&B single “Always” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. He takes full command of the stage with a stripped-down performance of the track accompanied by minimal instrumental backing as he vows to always hold space for someone he used to love.

Earlier this week, on Tuesday night, Daniel Caesar put on a sold-out, unforgettable headlining performance at Madison Square Garden. He brought an intimate and almost celestial feel to one of New York’s largest and most iconic venues. Daniel performed career-spanning hits from his debut album Freudian to his new album NEVER ENOUGH, bringing H.E.R. to the stage to perform their 5X Multi-Platinum RIAA-certified hit “Best Part,” one of the most memorable snippets of the evening as the crowd sang along and held onto every lyric, and Mustafa the Poet for “Toronto 2014.”

Daniel offered thousands of attendees his signature piano ballads and guitar solos with a stripped-down quality, yet almost otherworldly precision. The set design displayed raw camera footage of fans singing along and his band entering and exiting the stage. His ability to effortlessly switch between genres, from the sultry R&B of “Get You” to the gospel-infused “Blessed,” was remarkable and put his versatility on full display.
