DANNA PRESENTS “KHE CALOR”, THE FIRST SINGLE OF HER NEW ERA, AND IT’S SET TO BE SERIOUSLY HOT

Danna is ready to ignite the summer with the release of her explosive new single “KHE CALOR”. This track marks the beginning of a new chapter in her career, an era defined by female empowerment, sensuality, creative freedom, and a vibrant pop aesthetic that feels more “her” than ever before.

“To me, ‘KHE CALOR’ is the start of a chapter where I feel more confident, powerful, and free than ever. I wanted to take full creative control of everything in this new phase, from the music to the visual design,” shares Danna.

The track is inspired by the iconic ’90s sample “Toma Que Toma.” “I was at one of my favorite clubs in Mexico City, having an incredible night. The DJ was mixing several songs with a ‘hot’ vibe, and it was really warm in the venue. Suddenly, ‘Toma que toma’ started playing, and the vision immediately came to me. I remembered it’s one of my all-time favorite songs and that I used to dance to it a lot as a kid. So, I recorded a voice note, and months later, in the studio, I remembered that voice note and that’s how ‘KHE CALOR’ came to life.”

With seductive rhythms and contagious energy, “KHE CALOR” is an invitation to dance and connect with your hottest, most empowered, and party-loving side. The color yellow dominates this new era, representing summer’s energy and sunshine—a track that hooks you from 0 to 100 and spikes your adrenaline.

The official music video, directed by talented Dominican filmmaker Olivia de Camps, takes an unexpected turn: instead of following the traditional path of a summer anthem, Danna draws on her acting background to portray multiple characters in a narrative rich in symbolism and visual power, joined by El Malilla and Mich Duval.

It’s a modern pop novella, a stylized fantasy that draws from Mexican culture, where excess, passion, and popular faith intersect. In a town plagued by drought, it’s not water that’s missing, but emotion: Danna no longer suffers for love, now, she’s in control of the game. Her tears are the only thing that can bring the rain.
