Darla Dean Lewis releases debut EP ‘We’re Gonna Fly’
LA-raised, NYC-based Darla Dean Lewis releases her debut EP We’re Gonna Fly out now via Cascine. We’re Gonna Fly is a five-track project fusing dynamic, diaristic lyricism with dancefloor sensibilities alongside a maximalist pop vision. The project includes previous singles “Man Enough” and “1979” that personify an innate girlhood-ness.
Across the EP Lewis locates a sense of childlike wonder while pairing some of her best phrases with clever tonal shifts.
