(NEW YORK, NY) – Critically acclaimed lyricist, Jarren Benton drops his latest music project, YUCK FOU, today. Complex premiered the video for Benton’s lead track, “Don’t Need You”, featuring Hopsin. The amusing visual perfectly captures Benton’s comedic side as he and Hopsin trade verses addressing past issues in a humorous light. “Don’t Need You” as well as other tracks on the YUCK FOU project, were produced by Benton’s longtime collaborator, Kato On The Track. Benton’s YUCK FOU tour kicked off on July 26th in Nashville and will run through August 19th wrapping in Chicago.  Tickets can be purchased here.

Several years after being voted a People’s Choice XXL Freshman, Jarren is starting over. He’s a seasoned veteran doubling down on the lyricism he made his name on, but his new music experiments with new emotion and accurately bottles up the last few years of his life. He blends left-field penmanship with a brutal sense of truth.

YUCK FOU is Benton’s first release on Roc Nation and marks the first full-length project since the collaborative One Week Notice EP, which saw him alongside Dizzy Wright, Emilio Rojas, Audio Push, Demrick and Reezy.
