Global recording artist G Herbo has expanded his latest mixtape, Greatest Rapper Alive, with four additional tracks, available exclusively today on the G Herbo App. The new songs—“One Blood,” “Do U,” “Bad ASL,” and “Desperate”—further build on the project’s homage to the early 2000s mixtape era, a time when platforms like DatPiff and HotNewHipHop defined digital music discovery. Upon its original release, the G Herbo App peaked at #3 on the App Store Music Charts.

In addition to the expanded 20-track mixtape, G Herbo is introducing a Greatest Rapper Alive-inspired hoodie, available exclusively to members through the G Herbo App. This limited-edition merch drop complements the project’s nostalgic aesthetic and sonic direction.

The four newly added tracks are entirely produced by longtime collaborator and fellow Chicago native Oz On The Track (Sexy Redd, Tee Grizzley, Polo G, Lil Durk) and feature reimagined samples from legendary artists, including Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Jeezy, Master P, Nelly, Jay-Z, and Dipset.

This release follows the highly successful launch of the “Went Legit” music video, which premiered in early February. The video quickly gained traction, amassing millions of views within days and currently ranking #4 on YouTube Music’s trending list. The visual maintains the intimate, documentary-style approach seen in G Herbo’s recent music videos, including January’s “Roc Block.”

G Herbo’s recent output also includes Strictly 4 My Fans 2.0, a November 2024 reissue of his Strictly 4 My Fans 2 project, featuring five previously unreleased tracks: “My Soul,” “Teflon,” “Essence,” “Breathing Heavy,” and “Lionhearted” featuring Polo G. Prior to that, he dropped Big Swerv in September, which peaked at #1 on Apple’s Hip-Hop/Rap Albums chart and #2 on the Overall Albums chart. Rolling Stone praised his evolution, noting his ability to “let loose with his music” in ways previously unseen. The project also spawned multiple visuals, including “Global Spinning” featuring Baby Drill, “Splat,” and “Candyman.”

Following the success of Big Swerv, G Herbo released Big Swerv 2.0 in October, expanding the project with seven additional tracks and collaborations with Chris Brown, Meek Mill, and Lil Durk. His prolific run builds on the momentum of his acclaimed 2022 double album, Survivor’s Remorse: A Side & B Side, which featured high-profile guest appearances from Jeremih, Future, Offset, Gunna, Benny The Butcher, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Young Thug, Meek Mill, Conway, and Kodak Black.

With Greatest Rapper Alive now available exclusively on the G Herbo App, G Herbo continues to solidify his place in hip-hop. Stay tuned for more music and surprises as he further solidifies his legacy.
