GLOBAL MUSIC SUPERSTAR MR EAZI EXPLORES THE PLEASURES OF LOVE AND MUSIC IN PLAYFUL NEW VIDEO FOR ‘PANADOL’

As we draw near to the one-year anniversary of the release of his first-of-its-kind art and music fusion experience and debut album The Evil Genius, Grammy Award and Latin Grammy Award winning global music superstar MR EAZI is excited to reveal the captivating new music video for ‘PANADOL’ – one of the album’s fan-favourite tracks. Shot in London, and directed by Mollana Burke for JM Films (Beyoncé, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Stormzy), the video for ‘Panadol’ brings the track’s themes of pleasure, ease, and embracing our present joys further to life with a visually stunning and playful narrative, offering a vibrant spectacle featuring dynamic scenes and rich colours that captures the song’s carefree energy.

The track itself was recorded in the vibrant city of Ouidah in Benin, and produced by Type A (Fireboy DML, Wretch 32, Amaarae), who also produced ‘Good Lovin’ and ‘Zuzulakate’ from The Evil Genius album. Driven by lively percussion drums, resonant bass guitar, and lush synths, and held together by Mr Eazi’s velvety smooth vocal performance, groovy and infectious melodies, and effortlessly laid-back delivery, ‘Panadol’ captures the essence of finding relief in love and music, much like the soothing effects of the pain reliever Panadol. The song is all about feeling good and enjoying life, with Mr Eazi cheekily playing with the themes of sexual performance and health throughout the song.

As the rest of 2024 unfolds, his community of over 11 million online fans can look forward to more exciting releases from Mr Eazi, with the afrobeats icon hinting at dropping a few more singles, and a surprise EP before the end of the year to follow on from The Evil Genius, which has so far garnered over 45 million streams, and championed by Forbes, The New York Times, Billboard, Rolling Stone, The FADER, Complex, CNN, The Guardian, and Music Week, among others. Beyond his musical endeavours, Mr Eazi remains committed to his philanthropic efforts and community projects, with a particular focus on supporting young creatives and entrepreneurs through the rest of 2024.
