TomorrowCoco will be at the NBA HBCU Classic to sing the “Star Spangled Banner” and the Black national anthem, “Lift Every Voice And Sing,” alongside the Winston-Salem State University Red Sea of Sound, and the Virginia Union University Ambassadors of Sound. The game takes place at Gainbridge Field­house in Indianapolis, presented by AT&T on TNT, ESPN2 and NBA TV.
 
At the 66th annual Grammy Awards, in addition to her Best R&B Perform­ance win and her nomination for Best R&B Album, Coco was also nominated for Best New Artist, Best R&B Song (for “ICU”), and Best Traditional R&B Performance (for “Simple” with Babyface). 
 
Last year, Coco took home Best New Artist honors at the BET Awards, The BET Soul Train awards, and the NAACP Image Awards.
 
Named one of the Top 10 Best Songs of the year by The Hollywood Reporter“ICU” was the focal track on the original WHAT I DIDN’T TELL YOU DELUXE EP.  Released via High Standardz/Def Jam Recordings in January 2023, the deluxe EP has amassed over 454.4 million global streams across all platforms.  “ICU” has garnered over 322 million streams since its release in October 2022.
 
2023 was a landmark year for Coco, who first broke into the entertainment scene as a young Disney star before going on to star in movies.  She joined the cast (as ‘Hilary Banks’) in Peacock’s Bel-Air, the Fresh Prince reboot that premiered in February 2022. 2023 saw Coco selected for MTV Push, BET Amplified ArtistYouTube Music’s Black Voices ’23, Spotify’s ‘23 R&B Artists to Watch, Pandora’s ’23 Artist to Watch, Apple Music’s Future 40, and Essence’s 35 Under 35: Young, Black, & Amazing.
