Tre Loaded & Bankroll Got It Announce ‘A LongWay From NoWay,’ Their Upcoming Collab Tape, Coming July 10th
Tre Loaded‘s quicksilver flow and penchant for luxurious flexes have caught the attention of rap game heavy hitters. After connecting with the likes of BigXThaPlug and That Mexican OT on viral singles in recent years, Tre makes another A-List connection, teaming up with Platinum production team Bankroll Got It to announce A LongWay From NoWay, their upcoming collaborative mixtape. The upcoming 8-track tape seamlessly combines the simmering Southern sound with West Coast rider music, Bankroll Got It laying out a diverse and expansive soundscape for Tre to twirl his triplets. Home to the recently released “Quit Calling,” A LongWay From NoWay arrives on July 10th via Loaded 4 Life / Connect Music.
Along with the official mixtape announcement, Tre and Bankroll release “Break Even,” a new single and music video (live at 5pm ET on Tre’s YouTube). A triumphant, horn-drenched anthem, “Break Even” harkens back to the heyday of T.I.’s Grand Hustle, with its propulsive fanfares making it an ideal soundtrack for top down freeway rides. Tre illustrates the ethos of the new tape, marveling at how far he has come and shouting out his late cousin ABP, who inspired him to become a rapper. In the video, Tre hits a high-class casino, rolling high at the craps and Blackjack tables as he counts his blessings and his copious winnings.
Tre Loaded exploded into the consciousness in 2024, with with viral hits and important co-signs, leading to over 50 million catalog streams in 2024 alone. The new single follows in the footsteps of “Another Whip,” a viral hit that generated over 7 million streams across platforms. In the fall, Tre added a verse from his compadre BigXThaPlug to the remix, after joining X on his fast-selling “Take Care Tour” as the direct support. Trending on TikTok and charting on Shazam, “Another Whip” provided a breakout moment for Tre Loaded, and was a highlight from his LOADED mixtape home to singles like “Push Start,” and a guest appearance from That Mexican OT on the trumpet-laden single “The Ticket,” covered by outlets like Stereogum and HipHopDX.
