Goldenboy Countup, the all-star Florida rapper with a Detroit flair, has just shared his new single and video “Dinner Date” via Simple Stupid Records/Geffen Records. On the track, Goldenboy’s commanding flow, humorous one-liners, and catchy cadence work perfectly over a chopped-up sample and set of waining keys. The song and video exhibit a softer side to Goldenboy, with him waxing poetic about taking his loyal partner out on a lavish “Dinner Date” and putting a plethora of bankrolls in her pocket while sporting a pair of show-stopping Gucci sunglasses and a striking sweatsuit to match. “Dinner Date” exudes the charisma, technique, and braggadocio that have gravitated fans and critics to the buzzing Central Florida rapper, Goldenboy Countup.
