Gracie Abrams Unveils Sophomore Album ‘The Secret of Us’: Captivating Release Out Now

Gracie Abrams, a GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter, has unveiled her eagerly awaited sophomore album, The Secret of Us. This album introduces a bold new dimension to her songwriting, capturing the breathless urgency of sharing your deepest feelings with your closest friend at the end of an exhilarating night. The album was co-produced by her friend and regular collaborator Aaron Dessner, marking the first time Gracie has taken an active role in the production process. Abrams also collaborated with her longtime friend Audrey Hobert to co-write much of the album.

The Secret of Us features Gracie Abrams’ much-anticipated new single “Close To You,” which she released earlier this month. Earlier this week, Gracie achieved another career milestone as she made her solo debut on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Close To You” entering the chart at #49. Originally teased a few years ago, “Close To You” has quickly become her best performing single upon release with three million streams in one day on Spotify alone. This single marks Gracie’s first entry into the Spotify Global Chart and is currently in the Top 20 on the platform. Last night, Gracie delivered a stunning performance of “Close To You” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on the outdoor stage. The new album also includes “Us,” Gracie’s highly anticipated collaboration with Taylor Swift, as well as the lead single “Risk,” which Abrams released last month along with the official video. “Risk” garnered an impressive one million streams on Spotify in less than 10 hours after the release and currently has over 62M streams to date.

This fall, Gracie Abrams will bring The Secret of Us to fans on her sold-out headlining tour, The Secret of Us Tour. The tour features the largest number of shows and the biggest venues Gracie has headlined to date, resulting in over 100,000 tickets sold. Just one day after announcing the tour earlier this month, Gracie added five additional shows to the tour including two more dates at iconic venues The Greek Theater in Los Angeles and Radio City Music Hall in New York where she will play three nights each. The Secret of Us Tour kicks off on September 5 in Portland, OR and special guest Role Model will join Abrams as direct support.
