HENRY MOODIE SHARES NEW SINGLE “orbit”

Rising UK singer-songwriter Henry Moodie unveils his new single and video “orbit”. As the final installment of his cinematic trilogy starring Heartstopper’s Bel Priestley and Sex Education’s Olive Gray, “orbit” concludes the three-part tale portraying a story of heartbreak told back to front. Along the way Henry has been selling out venues across Europe for his UK & Europe headline tour next year, including London’s KOKO on March 29.

Co-written with Victoria Zaro (Tate McRae, Cat Burns) and Solly (Shawn Mendes, Bebe Rexha), “orbit” is a satisfyingly familiar and yet undeniably progressive power ballad, its force upheld by Henry’s immaculate harmonies and clever pop lyrics. Complemented by a giant and euphoric climax, “orbit” describes the exhilarating thrill of a new romance, a fan favorite already on tour that will round off an incredible year for Henry.

The video was directed by boundary-defying filmmaker Samuel Douek, whose knack for storytelling and shining a light on LGBTQ+ underground culture has seen him win several awards for documentaries like +JUS LIKE ME and SONTEWALL 2069, as well as directing music videos for Little Mix, David Guetta, Kara Marni, Aurora and Denai Moore.

Continuing his breakthrough year, the BIMM alumni from Guildford has quickly cemented his position as a breakout star in the UK. Selling out venues to his own UK & Europe headline tour in 2024, Henry has already performed to over 150k fans in the last year alone including support sets for Lauren Spencer Smith and Mimi Webb. With a staggering 160M global streams under his belt from just 5 releases and over 7.7m online fans, Henry has mustered a dedicated fanbase since the release of his debut single “you were there for me” in the summer of 2022. Following his debut banger, Henry has since released a string of hits including “drunk text,” “eighteen,” “pick up the phone,” as well as recent hits “closure” and “fight or flight.” He’s currently in the studio with TMS (Lewis Capaldi, Dua Lipa, Maroon 5), ALDAE (Justin Bieber, YUNGBLUD) and Solly (Shawn Mendes, Bebe Rexha), working on his debut EP.
