HUDSON WESTBROOK RELEASES NEW SINGLE “THE JOKER”
Rising Texas country star Hudson Westbrook gives another taste of his highly anticipated sophomore album Made You Look with the release of his brand-new single, “The Joker”, out via River House Artists / Warner Records Nashville.
Written by Westbrook with Lukas Scott, Dan Alley, Neil Medley, and Beau Bailey, “The Joker” tells a classic opposites attract love story. “The Joker” follows earlier previews “Hits Me,” “Backwards,”“Hey Dallas, ” and album title track, “Made You Look.”
Set for release November 6, Made You Look marks a bold new chapter for Westbrook, showcasing his evolution as an artist and songwriter while staying true to the raw sound that has quickly made him one of country music’s most exciting new voices.
Expanding upon the Texas country that has become his signature, Made You Look is an ear-catching, 16-song collection; a snapshot of Westbrook’s whirlwind rise over the last two years. “Helping pull Texan artistic independence into the mainstream” (The Bluegrass Situation), “he’s crafted a sound that blends modern country storytelling with the timeless soul of Texas tradition” (Atwood Magazine). This fall, Westbrook launches his 24-date headline Hits Me Tour. The trek marks Westbrook’s first-ever headline shows in major markets like Los Angeles (The Novo), Washington D.C. (The Anthem), New York (Terminal 5), and Boston (Roadrunner). Joining him for the run of dates are MCA-signed Georgia country riser Kenny Whitmire, and rising singer-songwriter, Ethan Burdick.
