Jeezy‘s Playlist Tour made a powerful stop at Chicago’s House of Blues this past Labor Day, delivering an unforgettable night of hip-hop classics. The sold-out venue was packed with fans eager to witness the rap legend in action.

DJ Pharris set the tone for the evening, energizing the crowd with a high-energy set that seamlessly mixed early 2000s classics like Lil Wayne and 50 Cent songs with contemporary hits by artists such as Future and Meek Mill. Along with Dj Ace on the mic getting everyone hyped and moving for what was to come.

When Jeezy hit the stage, the atmosphere was electric. From the moment he started performing, it was clear that he hadn’t lost a step. The Playlist Tour is a celebration of his expansive catalog, and Jeezy made sure to hit all the right notes, performing fan-favorite tracks from across his career. The crowd roared along to classics like “Put On” and “My Hood,” showing that his music still resonates deeply with fans.

The intimate setting of the House of Blues allowed for a unique connection between Jeezy and his audience. He took time to engage with the crowd, reflecting on his journey in the music industry and expressing gratitude for the continued support. At one point even taking time to shout out the people in the crowd celebrating their birthdays. The production was minimal but effective, with only Jeezy, his DJs and for some songs a single dancer on stage. Keeping the focus squarely on Jeezy’s commanding presence and lyrical delivery.
