JULIANA SHINES AT LATIN GRAMMY CELEBRA: THE MUSIC OF ANDALUCIA IN SEVILLE

The Latin Recording Academy® celebrated Latin GRAMMY® Celebra: La Música de Andalucía last night at the Cartuja Center CITE in Seville, an unforgettable evening honoring the legends, icons, and future of Andalusian music.
Among the international artists invited to perform was Colombian singer-songwriter Juliana, who captivated the audience with her powerful rendition of “Ese Hombre” by the eternal Rocío Jurado. Sharing the stage with Ana Torroja and Judeline, Juliana paid tribute to one of Andalusia’s most cherished voices, embodying the Academy’s mission to unite cultures and generations through music.
The event, hosted by Latin GRAMMY® winners David Bisbal and Luis Fonsi, showcased an extraordinary lineup of performances spanning flamenco, rock, pop, and beyond. Highlights included a tribute to Enrique Morente; an emotional homage to Camarón de la Isla; a celebration of icons like Miguel Ríos, Alejandro Sanz, Joaquín Sabina, and Lola Flores; and a special flamenco segment featuring Niña Pastori, Antonio Rey, and Carmen Linares.
Juliana’s performance stood out as one of the night’s most emotional moments, marking her as a rising international voice who glorifies Colombia through her artistry. Her participation reinforced the event’s spirit of showcasing the diversity and global resonance of Andalusian music.
The gala concluded with a moving tribute to Raphael, the 2025 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year™.
Juliana’s performance comes on the heels of a breakthrough year for Juliana. In 2025 alone, she headlined a SOLD OUT show at Bogotá’s Movistar Arena, was named to Forbes Colombia’s “30 Under 30” list, and delivered her first SOLD OUT performance at Mexico City’s legendary Lunario of the Auditorio Nacional.
