Karol G’s Con Cora Foundation is proud to announce the third edition of its Women Ink initiative, expanding the program to Mexico City for the first time. Women Ink is an artistic training program created to empower women through the art of tattooing and challenge stereotypes surrounding the craft. Women living in Mexico City between the ages of 22 and 40 are encouraged to apply now through July 1 at https://concorafoundation.org/women-ink/

Applicants selected for the program will receive a scholarship to participate in a professional, intensive tattoo workshop. The course includes 40 hours of hands-on training over one week, where participants will learn the history and evolution of tattooing, explore various techniques and styles, become familiar with tattooing tools and materials, and gain practical knowledge on workspace setup, application procedures, and aftercare. The program is designed to provide real opportunities for learning, growth, and career development for women interested in entering the tattoo industry.

The course will be led by respected tattoo artists Javi Cinco Ángeles and Juan Ramón RC, who will guide participants through the technical and creative aspects of their learning journey. The Women Ink initiative previously impacted over 60 women during its first two successful editions in Medellín, Colombia, and Madrid, Spain, offering high-quality training and mentorship.

Recognizing the barriers many women face in accessing educational and professional opportunities in the arts, such as lack of resources, discrimination, and social exclusion, Con Cora Foundation believes in the power of art to create lasting change. Women Ink aims to equip women with the tools and training to pursue careers in tattooing, connect them with experienced mentors to support their growth, empower them through creative expression, and ultimately reshape perceptions around tattoo culture.
