Luhh Dyl Gets Introspective Over Acoustic Guitars on His New Single “Forgive Never Forget”

With his dense lyricism and focus on introspection, 22-year-old rapper Luhh Dyl cuts a unique figure in his native Detroit. Continuing to impress with new singles in the wake of his recent album, A Time To Hurt, A Time To Heal (ATH²), Dyl ponders how to right past wrongs in “Forgive Never Forget,” his new single. Like many of Dyl’s greatest songs, “Forgive Never Forget” gets its sonic backbone from an acoustic guitar. Augmented by ethereal vocal samples and booming percussion, the beat by producers LQthabanker and 1patrick.brennan lends a contemplative atmosphere to Dyl’s confessional verses.
