KODAK BLACK OFFICIALLY DROPS SINGLE “FALLING OVER”
MULTI-PLATINUM RAPPER’S LONG-AWAITED TRACK
PAYS HOMAGE TO THE LATE XXXTENTACION
BILLBOARD TOP 10 ALBUM KUTTHROAT BILL: VOL. 1 AVAILABLE NOW
Multi-platinum rapper Kodak Black has officially released his long-awaited single “Falling Over,” streaming now via DSPs and streaming services HERE. Initially released via YouTube in June of 2021 as a tribute to XXXTentacion, fans have felt a strong connection to the vulnerable and touching lyrics. “Come alive cause I need an angel / Didn’t know that you can die” Kodak sings in the moving homage to the late rapper.
“Falling Over” is currently enjoying a resurgence on TikTok with over 45k creates and counting. Kodak is also fresh off the release of his new Billboard Top 10 album KUTTHROAT BILL: VOL. 1. The 19-track collection was first unveiled this summer with the dual arrival of singles “Walk” and “Spin,” and further highlighted by standout single “300 Blackout,” joined by an official music video that’s still holding as the #29 top musicvideo on YouTube weeks after release HERE.
Recently nominated for “Song of the Year” at the BET Hip Hop Awards and “Favorite Hip Hop Song” at the American Music Awards, Kodak has celebrated a blockbuster year thanks in part to the overwhelming success of smash “Super Gremlin.” The chart-topping, RIAA Platinum certified hit single – which spent 13 weeks at #1 on Urban radio mainstream charts nationwide – peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. With well over 22 million monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 19 billion global streams, Kodak’s presence in music is well established.
