“Multiple Talking Women” is a satirical improv podcast poking fun at today’s talk shows, while keeping audiences thoroughly entertained and on their toes for whatever cultural commentary these hilarious “hosts” will say next. Led by Schurga, Price, and Burns and based on their characters from “Happy Hour,” the trio perform in character as three unlikely friends with completely different social views while interviewing real celebrity guests.

“When you look at the creative evolution and wide-reaching influence of The Groundlings, which will be 50 years old next year, ‘Multiple Talking Women’ is another case of how The Groundlings continue to reinvigorate the comedy landscape by way of original comedic characters, this time on a podcast,” stated series co-creator Lauren Burns. “Our hit live improv show ‘Happy Hour’ transforms into the podcast ‘Multiple Talking Women’ as an integral thread in the ever-expanding tapestry of The Groundlings past, present and future because we do what The Groundlings do best – play characters who are specific and funny as hell.”

“Lisa, Ariane and Lauren have created such rich, hilarious characters at The Groundlings and Stampede Ventures is excited to introduce them to new audiences through our podcast division,” said VP of Content and Operations at Stampede Ventures Cara Fano. “We are absolutely thrilled to be working with such talented creators with unique perspectives.”

“‘Multiple Talking Women’ is an incredibly entertaining and fresh new take that we’re excited to bring into the audio space,” added Amelia Mysko, DOD of Stampede Ventures. “This trio has created a rare world that our guests can step into and explore in a really fun way and the potential of that feels unlimited.”

“Multiple Talking Women” is inspired by The Groundlings live theater show Happy Hour, and produced by Stampede Ventures and recorded at the CBS Radford studio lot. The first four episodes are available today, with new episodes weekly.
