LISA ‘ALTER EGO’ DEBUTS #1 TOP ALBUM SALES CHART; TOP 10 DEBUT ON BILLBOARD 200

World renowned rapper, singer, dancer, actress and style icon, LISA debuts at #1 on the Top Album Sales chart and in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 (#7) with her new solo album Alter Ego. 

Released via LLOUD CO./RCA Records on February 28, Alter Ego is LISA’s first full length solo album and includes “Born Again” featuring. Doja Cat and RAYE, which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the #1 most added song at Top 40 radio in the US following release last month, as well as  “FXCK UP THE WORLD (Vixi Solo Version)” which quickly became a fan favorite track. In tandem with the album release, LISA shared the official video directed by Christian Breslauer (Doja Cat, SZA, Ariana Grande).

The album was met with an outpouring of excitement and praise from fans and critics alike. Rolling Stone heralded, “Lisa’s versatility is clearly a strength — and one that she’s wielding in her nascent acting career, as evidenced by her stint on The While Lotus‘ current season. It helps make Alter Ego feel like an encouraging first step in her figuring out how where her solo career might go.” While the Associated Press declared, “Across rap, dance and pop, the project shows off a versatile artist ready to embrace her time alone in the spotlight.”

Following album release, LISA made her OSCARs debut on Sunday, March 2 with a showstopping performance of “Live and Let Die” as part of a special tribute to the James Bond franchise at the 97th Annual Academy Awards along with Doja Cat and Raye. And on Tuesday, she appeared on the cover of The Wall Street Journal Magazine’s March issue, shot by Allasdair McLellan, (see the cover here) and made her solo chat guest debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about Alter Ego, OSCARs, and her role as Mook in the current season of The White Lotus on HBO.

Next month, LISA will return to the desert, this time for her solo debut at Coachella.
