LIVINGSTON RELEASES IRRESISTIBLE NEW SINGLE “RADIOSTAR”
Alt-pop singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Livingston is back with his new single “Radiostar”, out now.
After teasing the track on TikTok with a simple promise, “2000’s pop is back,” Livingston delivers on it with a bright, high-energy pop record built around pulsing bass, magnetic synths, and a massive chorus. “Baby you sing like a radiostar,” he sings on the hook, shifting into falsetto over the song’s propulsive production.
“Radiostar” follows this summer’s single “Recognize,” which has already earned millions of streams. The deeply personal track finds Livingston opening up about his own struggles while creating an anthem for anyone who has ever felt the same way.
Earlier this year, Livingston released “Paper Crowns,” his first new music following the breakout run of his debut album, A Hometown Odyssey, and its deluxe edition, A Hometown Odyssey (The Story Continues). The project helped fuel a landmark year for Livingston, including headline tours across North America, Europe, and the U.K. and more than 50,000 tickets sold.
Written and produced by Livingston in his childhood bedroom, A Hometown Odyssey went on to amass more than 1 billion global streams. The album reached #2 on the Spotify Album Debut U.K. Chart and #3 on the Spotify Album Debut U.S. and Global Charts. “Last Man Standing” appeared on Spotify’s Viral 50 Charts across the U.S., U.K., Sweden, Denmark, and Australia, while breakout single “Shadow” reached #1 on the iTunes Global Songs chart and cracked the Top 20 on Spotify’s U.S. and Global Viral Charts. The album’s “Introduction” also featured Academy® Award winner J.K. Simmons.
