Maggie Rose shares official music video for “Saint”

The newest music video from Maggie Rose is out everywhere now. The Nashville-based rock and soul singer-songwriter Maggie Rose exclusively premiered the music video for her recently released song, “Saint” on CMT, MTV, and MTVU earlier this week. “Saint” is the third track to be released in advance of Rose’s forthcoming studio album, Have A Seat, due out on August 20 via Starstruck Records. Have A Seat was recorded live at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL, and was produced by Ben Tanner (Alabama Shakes).

“This song’s about admitting to not being perfect and being okay with that,” says Rose. “It’s something we should stop expecting of women—because women are many things, and saintly is not a requirement.”

Have A Seat has received early praise with the release of the album’s fiery-horn-groove stomp song “Do It,” and the powerful “What Are We Fighting For,” a song that offers a gorgeous introduction to the album’s message of loving solidarity. The accompanying video for “What Are We Fighting For” premiered exclusively via CMT and MTV.
