Mesh Named to the 2026 CB Insights’ 100 Most Promising Fintech Startups

Mesh recognized for powering instant money movement across crypto and traditional finance

CB Insights named Mesh to its ninth annual Fintech 100, showcasing the 100 most promising fintech startups in the world.

“The 2026 Fintech 100 identifies the startups reshaping how financial services work behind the scenes. This year’s cohort spans payments, lending, wealth, and digital assets, and what unites them is the data behind their selection: strong deal activity, top-tier investors, and partnerships with industry leaders,” said Aisha Chandraker, Fintech Analyst at CB Insights.

“Moving money shouldn’t depend on which wallet, chain, or platform it starts on,” said Bam Azizi, CEO and Co-founder of Mesh. “We built Mesh so a business can integrate once and support them all. As more of the world’s money moves onchain, we’re making sure it works everywhere.”

The list spans 21 categories across six sections of the fintech market, from payments and business finance to capital markets and connectivity. Our research team picked winning companies based on CB Insights datasets, including deal activity, industry partnerships, team strength, investor strength, employee headcount, and proprietary metrics.

Mesh is used by leading companies, including PayPal, Revolut, Deel, and Shift4, reaching more than 900 million users worldwide. In 2026, Mesh raised a $75 million Series C at a $1 billion valuation, launched the Mesh Alliance Program (MAP), an interoperability standard for digital money, and partnered with Visa to make crypto and stablecoin balances spendable across the Visa network.
