Singer-songwriter and two-time Latin GRAMMY winner, Chiquis and Latin superstar Becky G have been generating significant attention as of late for their captivating rendition of Dolly Parton’s iconic hit, “Jolene”.

Coinciding with Beyonce’s 2024 cover, the duo’s innovative cumbia-flavored, Spanish-language version, released in 2020 as part of Chiquis‘ Latin GRAMMY-winning album “Playlist,” has recently been celebrated in various important articles highlighting the best covers of “Jolene,”. Highlighted in recent publications such as USA Today’s “The 10 Best ‘Jolene’ Covers,” Vulture’s “Jolene Covers Ranked,” and Billboard’s “Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’: 10 Best Covers,” Chiquis and Becky G’s rendition has garnered widespread acclaim and recognition.

It’s worth noting that Chiquis had the honor of singing “Jolene” as a duet with Dolly Parton herself on the ELLAS Latin Recording Academy’s Special dedicated to women in music, a testament to her talent and contribution to the music industry.
