Get Loud at The Fest 17

It’s almost time for The Fest 17, a three-day festival featuring heavy hitters in the punk and alternative rock scene. The Fest happens once a year in Gainsville, Florida and showcases hundreds of performances from bands, comedians, live podcasters, and even wrestlers in twenty different venues.

Established in 2002, The Fest has grown massively in attendance and number of performers. In 2013, Ybor City in Tampa began hosting Pre-Fest, adding two more days to the mix and allowing people to enjoy more music. 2018 marks the seventeenth year of The Fest and the sixth year of Pre-Fest.

This year will see Santa Barbara punk band Lagwagon celebrating the 20th year anniversary of their fifth studio album, Let’s Talk About Feelings. Evansville, Indiana natives Mock Orange will also be celebrating a 20th year anniversary release with their third studio album, Nines and Sixes. The Fest will include many first time performers as well as performers from previous years. Bands such as Cursive, The Menzingers, and Piebald, just to name a few, will be playing extra sets at Pre-Fest, so you’ll have ample opportunities to catch them.

Pre-Fest is set to happen on October 24th and 25th. The Fest begins on the 26th and goes all the way through to the end of the 28th. Get your tickets here!
