Sebastián Yatra stunts with “Dos Oruguitas” at the 94th Academy Awards

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Sebastián Yatra stunned the audience at the 94th annual Academy Awards last night performing a beautiful rendition of “Dos Oruguitas” 🐛🐛 (“Two Caterpillars”) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, an Oscar-award nominated ballad that consistently brings eyes around the world to tears from The Walt Disney animated film “ENCANTO” [watch here]! As of this week, “Dos Oruguitas” is officially RIAA certified Gold.

The first Colombian solo artist to perform on the Oscar’s stage honored his home country during his emotional performance, wearing a custom suit by acclaimed Colombian designer Esteban Cortazar with hand-embroidered butterflies by Ana Maria Restrepo and shoes by Christian Louboutin. Earlier on the red carpet, the chart-topping artist partnered with Jeremy Scott to design a pink tux by Moschino with satin lapels, and a matching smoking shirt, vest, cumberbund, paired with a satin bow tie and Cartier watch which he also wore to the Governer’s Ball. 

Sebastián also attended the highly coveted Vanity Fair and Elton John Oscar parties, wearing Dolce & Gabbana. The chart-topping talent recently performed the emotional ballad as a trio on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, following appearances on Good Morning America and CBS Mornings.
