SHORELINE MAFIA DROPS NEW SINGLE “ROCKIN”

Multi-platinum selling, legendary West Coast rap duo Shoreline Mafia dropped their highly anticipated, ultimate summer anthem “ROCKIN”. Produced by Bandz, Monster Norm, and Jay Nari, “ROCKIN” samples Connie’s 1985 classic “Funky Little Beat,” with Shoreline adding a fresh modern flip to one of the most unforgettable, electro funk hits that ruled in the ’80s.

“ROCKIN” was first teased earlier this month on top streamer N3on’s live stream, which began trending on X later the same night. Within just 10 days, the song ignited overwhelming fan demand and excitement across social media calling for the song’s official release. When asked about the track OHGEESY stated, “I love paying homage to the culture and the legends before us. Timeless music with a twist on it. The grind is never done, I just wanna deliver the best quality music possible for my fans and keep inspiring the youth.”

Shoreline Mafia also dropped the official music video for “ROCKIN” directed by Austin Simkins, paying homage to West Coast, Mexican-American and Cholo culture, highlighting the vibrant spirit and community aspect that defines the essence of Los Angeles. The video also underscores unity amongst minorities attempting to unify Black and Brown communities, while also shedding light on local Mexican-American vendors and their contributions to LA’s rich cultural makeup, who have been affected by recent ICE raids across the city. Additionally, the video features stand out choreography from Storm DeBarge, known for her various collaborations with artists such as Megan Thee Stallion and Kendrick Lamar [“Not Like Us,” “Squabble Up,” “The Pop Out: Ken & Friends”].

Shoreline recently teamed up with YG for the release of his new single “Hollywood” produced by Ty Dolla $ign. With its upbeat, classic West Coast sound on full display, “Hollywood” has quickly cemented itself as a smash hit, earning over 12 million streams since its release. The hit single also made its debut last week on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart at #3, and is currently #18 on Tiktok’s Viral 50 Music Charts. Shoreline Mafia will also embark on their first tour in over five years this fall, the Back In Bidness Tour. The 16-date tour, kicks off headline shows across North America on September 10th in Salt Lake City, UT at the Complex hitting major markets across the U.S. including Chicago, Detroit, New York, Boston, Atlanta, Seattle and more before wrapping up on October 23rd in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum.

Fans can expect to hear cult favorites like “Musty,” “Bands,” “Gangstas & Sippas,” as well as songs such as “Shoreline Twins” from their second studio album Back In Bidness, released in April via 300 Entertainment. Back In Bidness notably marks Shoreline’s first official full-length release in over 5 years, which also debuted on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart and has over 50 million streams worldwide since its release.
