SKRILLEX RELEASES NEW EP hit me where it hurts x FEATURING CAROLINE POLACHEK, DYLAN BRADY, ISOxo, NAKEESHA, VARG2™ AND MORE
Skrillex has officially released his latest EP, hit me where it hurts x. The new EP offers a deeper dig into select tracks from the prolific producer’s critically acclaimed album F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3, and follows last week’s release of title track “hit me where it hurts x,” featuring fellow culture shifter Dylan Brady and pop disruptor Caroline Polachek. The single includes newly re-recorded vocals from Polachek, which she sent to Skrillex specifically for this updated collaboration with Dylan.
Skrillex first previewed the project last month after releasing “fuze” featuring ISOxo, following the pair’s high-octane back-to-back DJ set at Niteharts Festival that made headlines across the dance world. The five-track project also features a cast of frequent collaborators, including Nakeesha, Virtual Riot, Varg2™, and more. The EP’s focus track, “voltage (See You Again),” revisits and modernizes the Grammy-nominated song he originally wrote in 2010, now rebuilt with new, original vocals from Skrillex and its primary collaborators — his way of bringing a formative early record into the landscape of modern production and sound design.
hit me where it hurts x arrives on the heels of Skrillex’s 2026 Grammy Award nominations, including Best Dance/Electronic Album for F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3 and Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “VOLTAGE.” Alongside the EP, Skrillex has also surprise-launched a limited vinyl run of F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3, paired with a new merch capsule that gives a nod to DJ Smokey’s vocal contributions on the album — including a “Shadow Wizard Skrillex Gang” tee.
