Surf Gang founding member Eera shares new single “Down Again”
Fresh off his run opening for Snow Strippers on their headline North American tour alongside evilgiane, Anna Luna, Pz’, and more, Surf Gang founding member Eera has just shared his new single “Down Again”. Sampling Argentinian artist Tenchio, “Down Again” features a melodic guitar riff coupled with a kinetic kick-drum loop, alloying ambient soundscapes with the euphoric optimism of trance and digital melancholia while simultaneously serving up the kind of driving break-beat production and buzzed out baselines that stim an atmospheric intensity essential to Eera’s club-centric after-hour vanguard. Stamping his first single of 2026, the track arrives ahead of his performance at Ultra Music Festival in Miami next week, marking a fresh chapter for the West LA native as he takes his sound to North America’s largest electronic music festival.
Eera released his debut full-length project Cant Stop Wasting Time, in 2023 with remixes from evilgiane, Snow Strippers, and Nick León. Continuing to push sonic boundaries while honing his ever-evolving craft, he has since contributed his inimitable production to fellow Surf Gang member evilgiane‘s collab album with Slimesito, EVILSLIME, and critically acclaimed mixtape #HEAVENSGATE VOL. 1. Eera is also known for his work with artists like Bladee (“WALLET WONT FOLD”, “FML”), Rich the Kid & Jay Critch (“Fashion”), Black Kray (“RB2002”, “ANGEL WINGS MY GOONS”), 03 Greedo (“BEN DAWAVE”), and more.
