The Deep releases new video single “Kiss Me Better”

Following the release of her first single of 2026, “LA GIRLS” (feat umru and Warpstr), South Korean electro-pop architect The Deep has returned for a new single, “Kiss Me Better”. Produced by multifaceted DMV artist Warpstr, “Kiss Me Better” offers another look at The Deep’s wide-reaching club sound as she blends English and Korean vocals into a seamless track. The accompanying video, directed by SOUP, finds The Deep frolicking around South Korea, bringing her 2000s aesthetic into forests and the beach. This release comes after an 8-month solo musical hiatus for The Deep, following a breakout year that concluded with the release of her debut album and first full-length body of work since emerging in 2019, KPOP B!TCHWith production by American hyper-pop duo Frost ChildrenDorian Electra, South Korean producer-artist kimj, the project delivered a feature-free dive into The Deep’s 2000s-inspired electro-synth-pop, threaded with flashes of Korean hyper-pop, refining the hybrid sound she’s been shaping since 2019 and merging pop-forward melodies with the texture, personality, and idiosyncrasies of the underground.

The Deep has kicked off 2026 with major momentum. After the release of her debut album and hit single “Make Up” in 2025, she sold out her first headline show in New York City at Elsewhere Zone One, packed the Disco Room at Catch One in Los Angeles alongside Tiffany Day, and opened for Danny L Harle’s New York afterparty. More recently, she joined Cece Natalie and Isabella Lovestory on the “Gorgeous” remix before performing in Seoul alongside FKA twigsMechatokYves Tumor, and V8 (Vernon & The8 of SEVENTEEN). Beyond her own artist project, The Deep has also expanded her songwriting work, contributing to HYBE girl group ILLIT’s “It’s Me”, currently charting on the Billboard Global 200, as well as KiiiKiii’s latest tracks “Hey Hi” and “Ever2Late!”.
