TIACORINE RELEASES “YUNG JOC” SINGLE & MUSIC VIDEO FT. LUH TYLER
Breakout North Carolina rapper TiaCorine makes her major-label debut with “Yung Joc” featuring Luh Tyler via Interscope Records. Raw and unfiltered, the confident track showcases the rising MC’s sparkling flow as well as her poise and presence. That also comes through in the accompanying video, which finds TiaCorine chilling with her girls.
“You a good looking bird, you a peacock and my music be keeping the streets hot,” the newcomer raps over relentless beats and drowsy synths. “We going have us some babies out wedlock.” Rapid-fire, bold and infectious, the empowering track turns the tables on hip-hop fare that sexualizes women. TiaCorine proves that she’s the one calling the shots in and out of the bedroom.
In the accompanying video, the rapper offers a stripped-down vibe, foregoing elaborate outfits and eye-catching locales for jeans and a tee while surrounded by her crew. Washed in warm filters and clever transitions, the visualizer depicts an artist in her element.
“Yung Joc” is TiaCorine’s first new single since releasing the viral remix of “FreakyT”featuring Latto last year. She first broke big in 2020 with “Lotto,” which has amassed more than 10 million streams on Spotify alone. The MC backed it up with her debut project 34Corine, which expanded into The Saga of 34Corine in 2021. A series of singles followed including “Gas Station” and “Dipset,” both of which would go on to appear on 2022’s I Can’t Wait, along with viral moments like “Chaka Khan” featuring Kenny Beats.
Now, with “Yung Joc,” TiaCorine forges ahead, showcasing her growth as an artist and a performer.
