Unstoppable All-new Lincoln Nautilus Dominates with IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ Award

The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus, fresh off the assembly line, has been honored with the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s highest distinction, the TOP SAFETY PICK+ award, following its successful completion of all IIHS crashworthiness evaluations.

To be eligible for the 2024 TOP SAFETY PICK+ accolade, vehicles must achieve high scores in the small overlap front and revised side tests, as well as an acceptable or superior rating in the newly updated moderate overlap front test, which now places a greater emphasis on rear passenger safety. Furthermore, a satisfactory or superior rating in the pedestrian front crash prevention assessment is mandatory, and all model variants must be equipped with headlights that are rated as acceptable or good.

The Nautilus, which has been completely redesigned for 2024, meets all of the IIHS’s testing criteria. Each of the three available trims comes with headlights that have received a good rating and a standard front crash prevention system that has been awarded a good rating in the pedestrian evaluation.

In the updated moderate overlap test, the Nautilus achieved exceptional results across the board, setting it apart from the recipients of the lower-tier TOP SAFETY PICK award and solidifying its status as a TOP SAFETY PICK+ winner.

The newly introduced Nautilus provides customers with two powertrain options to suit their lifestyles – a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and a hybrid powertrain. When on the road, the Nautilus boasts the most comprehensive standard Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in its class and is one of the first vehicles in its segment to offer Lincoln BlueCruise, an optional hands-free highway driving feature.
