The special guests continued to shine during Usher’s Past Present Future tour as he brought out London’s own Estelle to perform her iconic 2008 hit song “American Boy” on Sunday night, April 6, 2025.

Speaking to 20,000 people at the O2 Arena, Usher introduced Estelle with heartfelt praise:

“London, London, London… thank you for 30 years of a career. It’s because of you, your appreciation of my art. I’m here to celebrate 10 times since the last time I was here. I said I would do one show for every year that I’ve been missing your love, I’ve been missing this connection. I want to thank you for making this ‘American Boy’ feel right at home. Tonight I have something very special for you. Tonight, I have a legacy artist for you, ladies and gentlemen. We are honoured… We love her… Estelle!”

After the show, Estelle shared her thoughts on collaborating with Usher in her hometown:
“Tonight was such an incredible honour and feeling. To perform one of my hit records for my hometown—first time in a long time—with one of our icons is meaningful for me in the BEST of ways!”

Reflecting on Usher as an artist, Estelle said:
“When I think of artists whose setlists are filled with so many hits that they could literally perform all night. Prince, Stevie, & Michael Jackson—Usher sits in that room—Comfortably!”
