Warhol.SS ft. Ugly God – “Top Off”
CultuThe Two Digital Natives Connect IRL for Some Late Night Shenanigans in the New Video from the M.I.A. EP
With a smooth flow and an excellent taste in beats, Warhol.SS crafts a unique blend of wavy trap music. Connecting with kindred spirit Ugly God, Warhol shares “Top Off,” his latest music video. Produced by heavy-hitters OZ Musique (Travis Scott) and Kid Hazel (21 Savage), “Top Off” hits hard, as both rappers stack syllables above detuned synths and hyperactive hi-hats. In the video, directed by Wavylord (Shoreline Mafia), Warhol and Ugly God swerve around town in a Mercedes GLE, stopping only to enjoy a strip club.
With over 2.5 million combined streams on Apple and Spotify, “Top Off” is the breakout hit from M.I.A., Warhol’s December 2019 EP. With production from the likes of OZ, Kid Hazel, Bobby Kritical (Future, Lil Uzi Vert), frequent Warhol collaborator Staccato, and more, M.I.A. cultivates an immersive trap experience, packed with fascinating sonic details (detuned synths, entrancing flutes, crunching percussion) and flashy turns-of-phrase. Featuring an additional appearance from Famous Dex, M.I.A. is available everywhere via EMPIRE.
Riding the momentum of 2018’s successful Chest Pains project, Warhol kept busy in 2019, releasing the buzzing “Kill Tek Piece” featuring Lil Mosey (over 5 million combined streams on YouTube and Spotify), collaborating with bbno$, Brodinski, and more, and touring with the likes of YFN Lucci and Thouxanbanfauni.
Most recently Warhol.SS connected with Shoreline Mafia for “Mind Right,” a party-positive, Chicago-set music video off Shoreline’s recent EP (1 million views).
