WILL SMITH ANNOUNCES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED ALBUM BASED ON A TRUE STORY OUT MARCH 28TH
GRAMMY- Award winning artist, actor and multifaceted entertainer, Will Smith, announces that his first full-length album in over 20 years, Based on a True Story will be arriving March 28th. Pre- Save HERE. The 14-track album will feature a variety of collaborators including DJ Jazzy Jeff, Teyana Taylor, & Jac Ross. This week, Will Smith linked up with another Grammy-winning rapper, Doechii, in a funny social video to her song “Anxiety.” Check it out ERE. The video leans into a current viral dance trend to the song, taken from a scene of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air with Will Smith and Tatyana Ali.
Recently, Will Smith hit No.1 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay Chart with “You Can Make It” featuring Fridayy and Sunday Service Choir- listen HERE. This marks Will’s first #1 single since Get Jiggy With It, topping both the rap and gospel charts. Smith debuted “You Can Make It” at the 2024 BET Awards. Will Smith also recently made an appearance at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards to present the tribute to his longtime mentor Quincy Jones.
