Yeek releases new EP ‘Zodiac’ via Stem

Multi-sensory storyteller Yeek releases his new EP Zodiac, out now via Stem. The project simultaneously arrives with the Spring Equinox in the Year of the Fire Horse. A return to his earliest times making music and producing, the project represents a rare 60-year energetic cycle referencing the creative force of innovation, bold independence and grounding balance. Zodiac includes the previously released singles “Felt A Spark,” and “Stayin’ Low,” both of which arrived alongside visualizers co-directed by Sebastian Caradang and Michael Figueroa.
The new music marks an intentional alignment of both sonic and personal evolution anchoring Yeek’s creative approach. The collection of songs comprises his DIY-forward sound from electronic-tinged indie cuts and refined dance production to spacious bouts of cloud-like electro-pop, r&b and the many sonic territories charted throughout his career. Organically built as a progression of his past work, he’s cultivated an intimate EP centered on the continuous craftwork of progressive sounds with hand-picked collaborators in Mundane and Saru Libey.
Yeek is a Filipino-American, Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist whose work spans music, film, and visual art. A singer, songwriter, producer, director, and filmmaker, Yeek has released seven albums and EPs and directed his short film “Move”, carving out a world that’s DIY at its core and cinematic in execution as he continues to push culture through deeply personal and immersive creativity. Throughout his career, Yeek has collaborated with artists including Denzel Curry, Dominic Fike, UMI, Raveena, Bakar and Paris Texas, and has done production work for Mac Miller. Beyond music, his creative vision has led to partnerships with global brands such as Nike, Adidas, Converse, Fender, Carhartt WIP, and Meta / Instagram.
