ANELLA RETURNS WITH NEW THREE-PACK SEASON 5: I MISS YOU

Rising singer-songwriter, Anella—formerly known as Anella Herim—delivers the fifth and final installment of his acclaimed fan-favorite “Nellavision” series, Season 5: I Miss You, out now via Def Jam Recordings.

 The three-pack arrives in tandem with a cinematic music video to accompany the single “Over Thinkin’”.

Season 5 represents yet another natural evolution as he pushes his signature blend of genres to new heights. “Over Thinkin’” tightly threads twangy guitar around a thick hip-hop beat. Against this backdrop, he wrestles with his feelings about an ex, going on to proclaim, “Girl, I’m over thinking ‘bout you.” The visual pays homage to the comedy classic Talladega Nights, placing Anella in the driver’s seat of a hilarious story. 

Elsewhere, whistles and gentle acoustic guitar accent “If It’s Maybe” as he flaunts his high register on the hook, “Do you think you’ll find another like me?” Then, there’s “Better Days.” In a moment of introspection. He gets reflective and croons, “You’re waitin’ on better days, I been stuck in my ways.” Season 5 serves as the perfect conclusion to “Nellavision.” 

It also picks up where he left off on Season 4: I Need You. Beyond amassing north of 1 million total streams, the latter earned critical acclaim. HitsDailyDouble applauded how, “Blending country pop with rap-leaning rock and spiritual undertones, Herim crafts soaring, stadium-ready melodies that resonate across genres, drawing in a diverse and growing fan base.”

Continuing a busy year, he notably just supported Lil Wayne on tour, playing to packed houses across North America.

 Prior, Season 3: I Made You yielded the standout “Don’t HMU”, which clocked over 7.7 million Spotify streams in addition to cracking the Top 10 of the Spotify US Viral 50 Chart. He also turned up with a stunning From The Block performance, generating nearly half a million YouTube views and counting.
