Spanish sensation Bad Gyal hits the international music stage with her new single “Blin Blin,” in collaboration with one of the hottest stars today, Juanka. The single was produced by El Guincho with Star Boy and Jasper Harris.
“I’m so happy to have collaborated with Juanka on this song and I’m sure the fans will love it. I like to make dance music for people, while incorporating my personality, and I think “Blin Blin” nails it. I really want everyone to enjoy this song,” said the artist, who has had great success with her tours across the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Juanka, who breathed new life into reggaetón, thanked Bad Gyal for her invitation to collaborate on this track, highlighting that “working with someone like her in this effort has been a real privilege … Thank you always for allowing me to contribute to the single and to be a part of the overwhelming success you will have. Thrilled with this experience!”
The undisputed queen of the alternative urban genre – and considered one of the most listened to artists this year – has released songs such as “Alocao,” “Hookah,” “Santa María” and “Zorra,” earned multiple platinum records, and “Tú eres un Bom Bom“ made it to gold certification. With most of her hits, Bad Gyal has made it to the # 1 spot on YouTube in Spain and reached the top of the charts on Spotify and Apple Music. She also made a big impact with he song “Aprendiendo el Sexo,” produced by El Guincho with Rawsanches and Fakeguido. This is her third collaboration of the year, joining the ranks of all the others she’s secured thus far with major stars from the Americas, such as Puerto Rican Guaynaa, who was part of the remix of “Tú eres un Bom Bom,” as well as Panamanian reggae icon Kafu Banton.
The rising Catalan star, with a short, but intense and productive career, has two internationally acclaimed mixtapes, ‘Slow Wine’ (2016) and ‘Worldwide Angel’ (2018).
Bad Gyal’s success is due in large part to the incredible partnerships she has established with some of the industry’s most prestigious producers, such as Scott Storch, Supa Dups, Dubbel Dutch, Jam City and El Guincho, creating a club sound that has taken over the entertainment business.
Major music media, from Pitchfork to The Fader have heralded that on her road to perfection, Bad Gyal is establishing the guidelines that will chart the course of the future of music.
